the alabama was patroling near the hugora nebula. we have just gotten orders that we where to help train some newer ships that just joined us out here on the cardassian front. there was the saber class uss alabama. the other three ships where two saber class ships. the loxley and the daphne. than the jones was a norway class cruiser. we have just strted patroling when we got a distress call form a civilan cradassian convoy. our other orders where to let the cardassian's deal with pirates themselfes. the task force headed that way. we where going to see if they need surport form us. the cardassains had the battle won when we got there. the priate ships saw our ships and ran. the pirate ships where nothing more than light raiders. the cardassian patrol ships out gunned them. "knight to fleet set course back to our asigned patrol station." i said as we where heading back. than out of the shadow of a nearby moon two keldons appeard. "knight to all ships do not atack unless they fire on us, or the convoy." the keldons sat there for two minutes doing nothing than they fired on the convoy. "open fire" i said orange streams of phasers shoot throught space and hit the lead keldon. the other ships joined in than the fight was on. the cardassians helped us out and we dissabled one keldon and damaged the other one. the damaged keldon ran. it saw two defiant class ships coming to our rescue. the loxley and the daphne where nearly destoried. the joes was heavy damaged it had holes in the hull on the port side. the alabama had no shiedls and only 15% weapons power. the captain of the lead defiant and Me. send a boarding party over to the disabled keldon. we found feration weapons. the investion lasted aobut two days. than the admiral called me to his office. he told me to stop the investion. I have already found evidence that sound one in starfleet may have sold those weapons to the cardassians. in his small office aboard the starbase he demoted me to commander and put me on desk duty becuase I was getting close to who sold the weapons. that evience pointed to someone on his staff. so here i set at desk waiting for another asignment.
